Senior rower Arvind Singh terminated a gold in the lightweight men’s single sculls event while his companions won three silver honors as India shut down from the Asian Rowing Championship on a high note in Ban Chang, Thailand on Sunday.

Senior rower Arvind Singh terminated a gold in the lightweight men’s single sculls event while his companions won three silver honors as India shut down from the Asian Rowing Championship on a high note in Ban Chang, Thailand on Sunday.

Arvind bounced his foes with a preparation of 7:55.942s.

Arvind, who finished 11th at the Tokyo Olympics close by Arjun Lal Jat in the men’s lightweight twofold sculls, beat his enemies from Uzbekistan, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand.

India shut curtains on the title with three more silver embellishments – – in the men’s lightweight twofold sculls, men’s fourfold sculls and in men’s coxless four events.

Overall, India completed returned from the central area event with two gold and four silver honors.

In lightweight men’s twofold sculls, Ashish Phugat and Sukhjinder Singh won a silver with a preparation of 7:12.568s, while in the men’s fourfold sculls, Bittu Singh, Jakar Khan, Manjeet Kumar and Sukhmeet Singh finished second in a nearby complete the process of timing, 6:33:661s, losing the gold by 0.523 seconds.

Jasveer Singh, Punit Kumar, Gurmeet Singh and Charanjeet Singh protected the other silver with a preparation of 6:51.661s in men’s coxless fours last.
